Phenomenal Bar Programs

Cocktails are a quintessential part of the vacation experience for many of us, and although Mendocino may be most famous for its wine and cannabis, it’s no slouch in the cocktail department either.

Little River Inn

With wood-burning fireplaces, sweeping ocean vistas, and soaking tubs, Little River Inn is an excellent choice for a luxurious stay, and their cocktail program rises to the level of their lodging and location, with a nice array of evocative twists on the classics. Try the Fern Creek Negroni.

MacCallum House Restaurant

The MacCallum House has been renowned for its cocktails since the early days of the craft cocktail revolution. The Elderflower Martini is a mainstay from those days, and has stuck around for good reason.

Nestled in the tiny inland burg of Hopland is the luxurious Thatcher Hotel, but whether or not you’re staying there you can stop in for an elegant and refreshing cocktail.

Ledford House

It doesn’t get more “oceanside” than the Ledford House, an elegant fine-dining restaurant just off of Highway One across from the rustic, hidden community of Albion. For cocktails, expect fun, creative twists on old favorites.

Left Coast Seafood

Classic California style seafood, house-made and sourced directly from land and sea. But don’t sleep on the cocktail program, with stand-outs like the tiki-inspired Shipwreck.
