The historic Victorian Nicholson House was built in 1904 and transformed into a Mendocino hotel, a cozy and comfortable bed and breakfast in the 1970s. Since then it’s been updated and modernized but it still has the look, charm and feel of its historical character. Located in the heart of Mendocino, the Nicholson House is within a short walk to the beach and to headland trails, coffee shops, art galleries. Rooms with are furnished with plush feather beds, beautiful views, and reasonable rates. All guests are given free access to Sweetwater Eco Spa, located just down the path from the Inn.
