Best Time to Visit:

Spring and summer are ideal for visiting Anderson Valley. From March through May, you’ll find bright green vineyards, blooming wildflowers, and perfect hiking weather. By June and July, the days grow warmer and longer, ideal for wine tastings, patio dining and evening strolls through the valley. If you’re lucky, you might catch a lavender field in full bloom or a live show at the brewery.

What to Pack:

Anderson Valley’s weather can shift from foggy mornings to warm afternoons, so layers are essential. Bring comfortable shoes for walking and hiking, a sun hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for daytime exploring. A reusable water bottle will keep you hydrated between tastings, and a picnic blanket comes in handy for spontaneous outdoor meals or lounging by the river. Don’t forget dog essentials if you’re traveling with a pup many stops are pet-friendly!
