The beautiful 1871 farmhouse at the oceanfront Howard Creek Ranch in Westport has rooms with handcrafted redwood details, antiques, and plenty of atmosphere. There’s even a swinging bridge across the namesake creek. Camp or hike at Westport-Union Landing State Park with more than three miles of rugged coastline. Head north on Highway 1 to access the wild and scenic Lost Coast and Sinkyone Wilderness State Park.
