Day 3

One Last Stroll

Start the day with breakfast burritos from Boont Berry Farm. Take a final slow drive back out of the valley, stopping at Anderson Valley Brewing Company if you’re still in town. There’s fun for the whole family. They have a disc golf course, food trucks, giant lawn, and room for kids to run while parents enjoy a pint of Boont Amber Ale.

Tips & Extras

Best Time to Go: The prettiest time to visit Anderson Valley is in late spring or early fall. From April to June, the valley is lush and green with wildflowers in bloom and perfect weather for hiking or farm visits. In September and October, the vineyards turn golden for harvest season, and apple orchards are full and ready for picking. Both seasons offer mild temperatures, beautiful scenery, and fewer crowds ideal for a peaceful, scenic getaway.

Pack For: When visiting Anderson Valley in late spring or early fall, pack with layers in mind mornings and evenings can be cool, while afternoons are often sunny and warm. Bring comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket or sweater, and sun protection like a hat and sunglasses. A reusable water bottle, bug spray, and a picnic blanket will come in handy for outdoor adventures. In fall, add a cozy flannel or fleece, and consider a rain jacket just in case of light showers.

Bonus Stop: Swing by Disco Ranch in Boonville for local wines and gourmet snacks, then head to Philo Apple Farm to pick up fresh-pressed apple juice or some homemade applesauce from their honor stand.
