Tips & Extras

When to Visit

The best months to visit are April through October, when coastal trails are dry, gardens are in bloom, and mornings often begin with a mystical blanket of fog that lifts to reveal blue skies. Spring and early fall are especially ideal for fewer crowds and gentle temperatures perfect for forest bathing and meditation. Winter stays are cozy too think roaring fires, misty headlands, and deep quiet.

What to Pack

Bring comfortable layers, as coastal weather can shift from sun to fog in minutes. Pack sturdy walking shoes, a light rain jacket, and cozy loungewear for evenings by the fire. Don’t forget a refillable water bottle, journal, and yoga or meditation gear if you like to stretch or practice outdoors. A small daypack will come in handy for forest or beach outings.

Bonus Quiet Stops
