When you’re a small town business, there’s always room to grow, so this dessert-and-coffee spot has expanded considerably since 2003, and now serves a full menu, including a local beef burger and a black bean quinoa burger for vegetarians.

Be-Bop’s Diner

A fun, retro joint modeled after the classic 1950s diner with a long counter, booths, and, one hopes, a waitress chewing gum. We kid – but not about the classic, no-frills burgers.

Cafe Beaujolais

For many years Café Beaujolais was the fine dining destination in Mendocino. The entire county has increased its foodie cachet in recent years, but ‘The Beauj’ still stands strong. They’ve recently started serving smash burgers on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and they’re at least as excellent as you might imagine.
