DESCRIPTION:Celebrate 75 years of the Hopland Research and Extension Center with us! All are welcome to our FREE Open House on Sunday\, May 17\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Explore the beautiful oak woodlands and meet the scientists studying the land. \nActivities will include:\nSelf-guided hikes and guided hikes\nBird watching\nWool crafting\nMeet a California Naturalist\nSheep at work!\nWildlife tracking\nStudying ticks and tick-borne disease\nOak regeneration\nVisitors are invited to bring a packed lunch or purchase lunch from a food truck that will be on site. Events will be family friendly with some stations suitable for younger children and other topics more suited to adults.
