Bird Cafe & Supper Club
Bird Cafe exemplifies a passion for community, food and art through unique dining experiences that emphasize terroir – or the taste of place. Chef Aaron Peters works with local farmers and ranchers to create local, seasonal, Mendocino country cuisine.
We’ve renovated the space, including new murals by Nicole Ponsler. Bird offers an exciting list of Anderson valley wines, in addition to a full bar pairings. We accept cash and local checks only.
Bird Cafe and Supper Club is available for on or off-site catering events and private parties with or without a full bar. They provide event-specific menus to help you celebrate your special event
Reservations are recommended.
About the Chef: Aaron Peters grew up in San Francisco, raised by parents who were excited by food. He began working in restaurants at age 15, and proceeded to work his way up the ladder in the city’s most successful restaurants, including Square One and Aqua. At 24, Aaron was reviewed in Gourmet Magazine. At the age of 25, he became the executive chef at Plump Jack Cafe. In 2003, Aaron shifted his culinary focus from cooking to farming, while interning at Oz Farm in Manchester, CA. He later developed his own homestead and farm, serving farmer’s markets, local restaurants, and grocery stores. Through these experiences, Aaron has developed relationships with local farmers and ranchers, as well as a deep appreciation for terroir – or the taste of place.
