Greenwood State Beach

Also known as Elk Beach, Greenwood used to be a lumber town and the nearby visitor center has excellent displays of the history of the area. Greenwood State Beach offers beach access and a picturesque view of the Pacific Ocean. Access the beach by the trail opposite the Elk Store, where you can pick up picnic goodies. The trail is easy and the beach offers plenty of driftwood “seating.”
