Willits Annual Holiday Craft Fair
Visit Willits Art Center on the weekend of December 8–10 for a great holiday shopping experience with booths full of the work of local artists. This year, the Craft Fair coincides with the opening of the “Small Works” show in the main gallery. The fair provides free live entertainment and delicious food is available for purchase.
The Hopland Research and Extension Center offers a reprieve for weary shoppers to get outside and enjoy some fresh air (after all those holiday candles!). On December 9, take a hike around the property with HREC staff and enjoy the seasonal sights that nature has to offer. After hiking, stay and make your own seasonal wreath.
Enjoy a hot libation at one of Mendocino's finest before heading out to shop by candlelight (not really, but stores will be open till 7PM on December 9) in the village. Pick up a shopping passport from a participating business, collect stamps and enter to win a prize! Always picturesque, Mendocino is all a-twinkle during the holiday season.
When you're done shopping by candlelight (Dec. 9), stroll over to the Mendocino Art Center for more shopping (!), and some holiday cheer with hors d'oeuvres, wine and music. This event is the Art Center's way of saying “thank you” for continued support over the years.
