All aboard the 5th annual Musical Mushroom Train on November 7th from 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Ride the historic Skunk Train out to a private pavilion nestled in the redwoods! Enjoy live bands\, a DJ & Dance Deck\, under a forest canopy. Sample mushroom-centric bites and cocktails; savor hot dogs and s’mores around the firepits\, too! HarborView Bistro & Bar beckons with a Mushroom & Whiskey Distiller’s Dinner with Master Distiller Crispin Cain of Mendocino Spirits – multi-courses\, multi-pairings…and a lodging package. Reserve your seat at the table on November 5th at 6:30 PM. Eat your fill at two different Forager’s Feasts. On November 8th from 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM\, Consommé Kitchen showcases their mouthwatering mushroom morsels paired with sublime wines at Goldeneye Winery’s Forager’s Feast. This festival at the Caspar Community Center will include guided morning forays each day\, fiber arts workshops\, a hands-on propagation workshop\, plus activities for kids. Artisans and vendors\, including food and beverages purveyors\, are on hand with goods for purchase at this two-day event\, November 14th & 15th from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day. 						\n				\n				\n				\n		\n		\n				\n			\n		\n											\n\n				\n				\n				\n			Walks\,Talks and More Foraging		\n				\n				\n		\n				\n				\n							Take a walk on the wild mushroom side with a local mycologist November 6th\, 7th or 8th. It all starts in the lobby at Stanford Inn Eco Resort for a brief introductory chat and then it’s off for your Mushroom Exploration Tour! Do yourself a solid and start your day with a Medicinal Mushroom Breakfast at Ravens. Roam the lush 47-acre Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens on a guided tour of their mushroom collection\, home to more than 160 species of wild mushrooms during fall and winter\, every Monday beginning November 16th.  These Mushroom Walks include 45-minute introduction\, followed by a 2-hour guided field walk that involves standing for extended periods and venturing off the main trails.
