In partnership with Flockworks and Noyo High School students, drop in for a hands-on art and science experience celebrating local humpback whales. Learn how scientists identify individual whales by their flukes and why every humpback tail is unique, then create your own whale fluke print to take home.
Participants can print on paper or bandanas explore the intersection of marine science and art through this collaborative program with local students and artists. You’ll also interact with Noyo Center educators, learn about humpback whales off our coast, and take part in a creative activity that’s fun, informative, and memorable for all ages.
Donations are requested to make a take-home art piece and help cover costs. No registration required—just drop in and make a whale tail.
