Taste, Sip & Smoke: A Mendocino County Harvest Tour
Travel and relax in style while you delight in breathtaking vistas, savor fresh cuisine, sip incredible wines, and sample the world’s finest cannabis on a weekend in Mendocino County. Over three days, discover the gastronomy, viticulture and cannaculture of this region that’s known for fine culinary delights, award-winning wines, a raft of outstanding breweries and a green reputation.
On Friday November 1, head to the Solar Living Center for a curated mushroom and cannabis-inspired four-course dinner accompanied by signature cocktails, appetizers and live music. Settle in for two nights at Yokayo Ranch nestled in the foothills of the bucolic Ukiah Valley. On Saturday, prepare to be awed by the giant redwoods in Montgomery Woods and following lunch, sample brews, ciders and all manner of fermented beverages at the Mendocino Homebrew Festival. Take a short trip to visit a working cannabis farm where you’ll learn about cultivation and distribution.
Sunday November 3 will be spent on the 5,350-acre campus of the Hopland Research and Extension Center where you’ll meet the researchers, learn about local flora and fauna, and participate in an olive oil tasting. A farm-to-table lunch will follow.
