Sundays in the Park Free Concert Series is the largest and most recognized community event in Mendocino County. Since 1992, the series has thrilled the community with exceptional musical performances by artists from diverse genres including blues, classical, country, salsa, soul, rock, swing, reggae and more. Each summer, taking center stage in beautiful Todd Grove Park, six free concerts featuring world-renowned artists as well as local talent, entertain more than 20,000 music fans.
Jungle Fire brings an explosive blend of Afro/Latin funk, fusing Afro-Caribbean and West African rhythms with deep, breakbeat-driven grooves. Based in Los Angeles, the band has built a global following with high-energy performances and releases on Colemine and Nacional Records, including their acclaimed albums Tropicoso and Jambú (which hit No. 4 on the Billboard Latin charts).
Known for their dynamic live shows, Jungle Fire delivers a mix of originals and funk classics in a nonstop, dance-floor–igniting set. Their music has been featured in films, TV, and major campaigns, and members have worked with artists like Stevie Wonder, Ozomatli, and De La Soul.
