Point Arena Independence Weekend Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day weekend in Point Arena with two days of community fun, live entertainment, and coastal tradition! On Friday, July 3, the festivities kick off at Arena Cove with the annual Fireworks Festival from 4 PM to 11 PM. Enjoy a lively street fair filled with delicious food, local vendors, crafts, family activities, a bouncy house, and live music featuring Redwood Roots Revival, Camilo y Los Cruzers, Seal Party, Wayward Jerry, La Onda, and DJ Here and There Records. As the sun sets, gather along the coast for a spectacular fireworks show by Pyro Spectacular beginning at dark. Guests are encouraged to bring flashlights and jackets for the evening festivities. Parking and shuttle service will be available from City Hall throughout the event.

The celebration continues on Sunday, July 5, with the beloved Point Arena Independence Day Parade beginning at noon along Main Street/Hwy 1. This hometown tradition brings the community together with colorful floats, fire trucks, classic cars, dancers, horses, drum corps, art cars, and plenty of surprises for all ages. Join locals and visitors alike for a festive weekend celebrating summer, community, and Independence Day on the beautiful Mendocino Coast.
