Point Arena Almost Fringe Festival

On Saturday, April 25th, the southern Mendocino county coastal town of Point Arena celebrates its the 9th Annual Point Arena Almost Fringe Festival.

Promising a full day of family fun from 10am to 7pm, the schedule includes Wind & Whales with the big kites of the Kite Wranglers at the Point Arena Lighthouse, a local crafts fair, fringe fashion from the Dream Machine, LSV (light sound vibration) demos in the Love Sound Bus, a motorcycle parade, hands on activities for all ages at the Coast Community Library, local merchant specials, art exhibits, food specials, and live performances outside by De Colores Folklorico, Sonic Soul, poetry and music featuring local poets and Mendocino County’s Youth Poet Laureate.

Plus all day live music in front of Think Visual with The Slackers, Buckridge Racket Club, Metal Health, Ken G & Friends, Rudy Gallager and more. Then head over the Record for Hillshaker and Blacksage Runners at 4pm.
