Painting Vibrant Tropical Plumeria in Watercolor

Join artist Kathleen Alexander for an inspiring watercolor workshop on Friday- Sunday, June 28-30, 2024 from 9 am – 3 pm. Learn how to paint exotic tropical flowers in realistic watercolor. Realism, detail, and luminous color, if these are some of the qualities that you want in your paintings, then this is the class for you. By underpainting and glazing, Kathleen will show you how to create smooth transitions in petals and colors that glow with an inner radiance. Choice of good painting subjects will be covered as will the importance of light and composition. Each day will include a discussion/lecture/demo, and step by step instruction of a subject provided by Kathleen. Students are encouraged through positive suggestions for improvement.
