Noyo Center for Marine Science Presents A Unique FUNdraiser!
The Noyo Center for Marine Science (“Noyo Center”) invites the local public to participate in its First Annual Scavenger Hunt FUNdraiser. The purpose of this fundraiser is to bring awareness and support for the Noyo Center while educating locals and visitors about the Noyo Center and the Mendocino coast while having FUN!
The event takes place between September 18 – 27, 2020 in order for participants to complete the list of specified activities at their leisure. Pre-registration is encouraged to reserve your spot at www.noyocenter.org. A packet of necessary materials will be provided at the Noyo Center’s Discovery Center in downtown Fort Bragg upon final registration beginning September 18.
The grand-prize winner will receive a portion of the cash proceeds (up to $250). Other prizes will be awarded for designated optional activities. The scavenger hunt includes various activities such as finding specific marine and beach-related items, visiting area parks, photographing certain features, and answering marine-related questions.
Cost is $20 per individual or $100 per team of up to six people (not counting children under 10). Businesses and individuals can enter as a team and divide the activities among the team, or participate as a group. Participants are expected to comply with the Mendocino County Health Order: www.mendocinocounty.org/community/novel-coronavirus/health-order
