Low Tide Seaweed Walk

The day begins with a low tide seaweed walk at MacKerricher State Park with Larry Knowles and Nathan Cahn. Larry Knowles is a Fort Bragg resident and long-time commercial seaweed harvester, being the proprietor of Rising Tide Sea Vegetables. Our educators will share their knowledge and experience in seaweed gathering and give us an in-depth understanding of the delicate intertidal ecosystem.
