Traditionally, sheep shearing has been a community event where many hands make light work. Ridgewood Ranch exemplifies this culture of finding joy in the work we do together! This year we invite you to Ridgewood Ranch to get your hands dirty with us as we shear wool off our sheep and take it to the next steps of skirting, carding, felting, and spinning. Dozens of lambs will have just been born and will be grazing with their mothers right in the center of our festival. Our community is full of hard working folks dedicated to service and stewardship and we will celebrate the work we all do with this festival. A community parade, an art show, grain threshing demonstrations, fire engines, horses, donkeys, and more will all be here to delight you!
