Westport, the northernmost town of Mendocino County's North Coast region, is very small community about 10 miles north of Cleone. The hub of the local arts community is Gallery This!, which offers art for sale as well as classes and workshops. Each month, Last Saturdays sees the gallery and participating local businesses operate late for art openings and attendant events.
Wesport also is home to several B&B's, vacation rentals and privately owned campgrounds. For those heading to the dramatic Lost Coast along Highway 1, this is your last chance to stock up on supplies.
