Birding by Boat ~ May 16th
The Mendocino Coast Audubon pelagic trip from Fort Bragg on Sun, 16 May, still has some spaces available. This 7+ hour trip is for both beginners and seasoned birders. Not only do they look for seabirds (and now and again a rare individual is seen), but its a good chance to see marine mammals including a whale or two.
The leaders are: Rob Fowler, Ron LeValley, Todd Easterla & John Sterling. They will point out and help identify the species that are sighted.
The meeting time is 7:30-am for the trip aboard the Trek II. Plenty of free parking abounds.
