Located in a cozy wedge of a space in Point Arena, Uneda Eat is the newest project from Robert and Jill Hunter. With the successful Pangaea Catering company and food truck under their culinary belts, the husband and wife team have opened what they dub “An Occasional Cafe”, where locally-sourced, sustainably farmed dishes like chicken with coconut and rice cakes, gnocchi with fennel, greens and local Mendocino cheeses are served. The menu changes each week and meals are available for dine in or take out Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday dinners. A menu and schedule can be found posted outside the restaurant for passerby and online.

We serve food inspired by our years of world traveling and our dedication to traditional and artisanal products such as pasture raised meats, seasonal hand-caught seafood, wild mushrooms & greens, and locally grown produce. Our menus are based on what local farmers can provide and changes with the seasons. We use the wood-fired oven in our mobile kitchen to cook almost everything we serve including bread and pizza, slow cooked dishes and for smoking our own bacon, sausages and fish. Cooking with live fire infuses our food with unique and rich flavors. We can provide local seasonal fare for everything from intimate dinner parties to large weddings. Our mobile kitchen allows us to work at many different coastal venues from San Francisco to Mendocino, and inland to Sonoma and Napa counties.
