Wildlife at Tideaway includes deer, fox, squirrels, geese, and seagulls. Binoculars are on hand for viewing migrating whales, boats and the many shore birds. Several bird guides will help you discover many more birds. The home is situated on a bluff 25 feet above Pacific Ocean. Private access to the rocks and tidepools at low tide is available.  Provided for the guests is a Tidelog graphically showing the high and low tides including the times for each day of the year.

For your entertainment there is satellite HDTV, VCR, DVD  iPod dock and stereo CD player with a tuner.  The house now features wireless DSL.  Downtown Fort Bragg has a 4 screen movie house showing the latest films.  The new state of the art Aquatic Center in Fort Bragg is open daily and is a must for families.  Local phone service is provided along with a current directory.
