The Surf & Sand Lodge is one of Fort Bragg’s newest and most popular beachfront lodging options! We have 30 beautiful and luxurious rooms, 24 with an ocean view. We also have rooms with fireplace and spa tub for two. Enjoy the magnificent ocean, whale watching, and beautiful sunsets, all from your own private balcony.
Just 50 yards away from the Pacific Ocean, this luxurious beachfront lodging is a short walk to Downtown Fort Bragg and easy access to hundreds of miles of mountain bike trails within 20 miles of the motel, in addition to kayaking, sportfishing, surfing and whalewatching. Adjacent to MacKerricher State Park Coastal Path (the old Haul Road), allowing you to walk or bike for miles along the ocean. The road is flat and paved for about 6 miles, with connecting paths over to the trail along the ocean. From the Surf & Sand, it is only a 10-minute walk on the path south to Glass Beach.
