Navarro Vineyards
Navarro Vineyards is a family-operated winery founded in 1973. Most of our wine is sold at our tasting room or from our website and over the years loyal customers have become valued friends.
Navarro provides permanent, full-time jobs with benefits to its employees. A good bottle of wine tells a story; we like each bottle to reflect a unique growing season and a particular vineyard site and the hard-working folks who produced the wine.
Sustainable farming starts in the vineyard. Navarro avoids the use of insecticides and herbicides. The vineyard rows are banded with flowering cover crops, abuzz with beneficial insects that keep pests in check as well as minimizing erosion and supplying nutrients to the gravelly loam. 90 acres of the 910 acre ranch are planted in grapes: Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Muscat. We select clones and rootstocks that thrive in the cool, rugged weather of Philo where morning fog and breezes are the norm. Pets welcome.
