We are located on a quiet street above Highway 128 just a few miles from where the Navarro river meets the pacific ocean.  We are a world away from the stress and noise of the city but also just a two and half hour drive from San Francisco.

The guest house is a unique historical building,  a tastefully restored grand home built for the owner of the local sawmill during the logging boom in the early years of the twentieth century.  Today it is an inviting and comfortable home base for visitors to enjoy a weekend getaway amidst the tranquility and the scenic beauty of the Anderson Valley.

We offer four comfortable bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom and one with twin beds for the youngsters.  We offer a complimentary Continental Breakfast, featuring homemade breads.  We can offer plenty of advice on the best places to visit during your stay with us.  On cooler nights you can enjoy a roaring fire in the large living room and on warm evenings you can sit out on the deck and enjoy the stars.

We are well located for visitors wishing to explore both the Anderson valley and the rugged beauty of the Mendocino coast.  There is plenty of hiking nearby, unspoiled beaches and redwood groves.  As well as the natural delights of the Anderson Valley the area is also famous for it's vineyards and microbrews.

There are restaurants and stores to visit in nearby Boonville, Philo and Yorkville.  The Anderson Valley Brewing company in Boonville is home to the celebrated Boont Amber and IPA. We are ideally situated for visiting the tasting rooms of some renowned wineries including Navarro Vineyards, Breggo Cellars, Claudia Springs, Handley Cellars, Roederer Estate and Scharffenberger Cellars.

Feel free to ask about any special weekends that may be planned for this year.  We hope to offer some unique weekend packages for small groups including accommodation and a local guide. We are hoping to schedule weekends which will feature guided activities with experts in Ecotherapy, local wines and seasonal mushroom hunting.
