Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens offers everything from colorful displays to thunderous waves. The mild maritime climate makes it a garden for all seasons, attracting gardeners and nature lovers. With manicured formal gardens, a dense coastal pine forest, native flora and habitats, fern-covered canyons, camellias, rhododendrons, magnolias and conifers, heaths and heathers, and flower-filled coastal bluffs overlooking the blue ocean, the garden is a jewel on the Pacific Coast.

Our mission is to conserve plants suited to the climate of the Mendocino Coast and display them for the enjoyment and education of our guests. 

FEATURES & ACCESSIBILITY
The Gardens' main trails are wheelchair accessible to the ocean. We provide electric carts for guests with special needs on a first-come, first-served basis.

You are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds.

Well-mannered dogs on leashes are always welcome and enjoy free admission.

A family friendly feature of our Garden is The Quail Trail: A Child's Guide Front Side and Back Side to the Garden. Children spot out Quail markers throughout the Garden using clues from a brochure guide given at our Admission's counter.  New!  The Children's Adventure Trail winding through the euculyptus forest from the secret Fairy Village to the Cattail pier.
