Mendocino Art Center Apartments
Setting
Be our guest at the Mendocino Art Center - one of the most historic local buildings, founded in 1959 as the center of the Mendocino art movement and still a thriving cultural center. Stay where famous artists have resided and where James Dean filmed ‘East of Eden’. Enjoy the stunning sea view campus with its beautiful gardens, buzzing studios and renowned gallery. Attend the Center’s many cultural events including performances, lectures, dances and barbeques. And don’t forget that you are welcome to the Second Saturday opening parties every month throughout the year to meet our featured artists.
Just a block away from Headlands State Park, you’ll enjoy one of the most beautiful gems on the coast. Stroll the craggy rocks, cliff footpaths and picturesque meadows full of wildflowers and plein aire painters.
