MacCallum House is a collection of the finest properties within the village of Mendocino.  Each of our rooms offers a romantic and peaceful environment in which to relax and enjoy the best of Mendocino.

The Main House, built in 1882, features six rooms, each lavishly furnished with antiques.  Many feature soaking tubs, sleigh beds and ocean views.  Seven cottages surround the main house, each with its own unique charm.  Most include wood stoves and private decks. We have restored the original MacCallum House barn, which features six rooms with river stone fireplaces, exposed old growth redwood beam ceilings, wood floors and dramatic ocean views.

Our collection of properties also includes the MacCallum Suites, a 4-star luxury mansion set on two private acres on the highest hill in Mendocino, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and perfect for a romantic retreat, family reunion or small wedding.  This property features a meeting room and a full gourmet catering kitchen.  Each room on this property is spacious, modern and loaded with relaxing amenities. Renovated in 2010, all rooms feature 50 inch flat screen televisions, Kurig Gourmet Coffee makers, IHomes, limestone tiled jetted spa tubs and showers, and either private decks or patios.

Also included in our properties in the Mendocino Village Inn, another historic 1882 mansion.  This stately property is situated on Main Street in the heart of the village.  Within the historic three-story structure there are eight beautiful rooms, each uniquely appointed. Several of the rooms have soaking tubs, ocean views and fireplaces.  Additionally, there are four very popular rooms with their own private outside entrance.

We also have a variety of vacation rentals to choose from, each with its own distinctive style and amenities, including hot tubs, stunning ocean views, Internet access and more.

Everything about the MacCallum House Restaurant and Grey Whale Bar & Café is warm and inviting, from the sunny wrap-around porch to the convivial bar and romantic firelit dining rooms.  Combining the town's charm, history, local life and flavors into one tasty package, the "Mac" is a great starting point for getting to know Mendocino.  An exceptional staff makes you feel as if you've been invited over to dinner by friends.  Executive Chef Alan Kantor showcases regional North Coast wines, seafood, meats and produce with an emphasis on organics, sustainability and quality purveyors.  

As part of the MacCallum House we offer a full transportation service company, Mendo Wine Tours & Limousine Service.  We can pick you up at the airport, take you on a tour of Anderson Valley's boutique wineries with a picnic lunch or squire you around the area.
