Londer Vineyards was founded in 2001 by Larry and Shirlee Londer who retired to Anderson Valley from Albuquerque, NM where Larry was an opthalmologist.  Wine was their passion and after some careful consideration they decided to follow their dream of making wine.  Anderson Valley proved to be the perfect place to grow their favorite varietals - Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer (Dry style) and Chardonnay.

Greg LaFollette, a well-know and respected winemaker, was their first winemaker and under his direction they produced wines of outstanding quality.  In 2005 Greg became consulting winemaker and Rick Davis, who had worked with Greg, took over as head winemaker.  The Londers have been producing stellar wines since their first vintage and have consistently earned very high praise for all of their wines.

As part of their dream, they planted a vineyard in 2001 and currently have 15 acres of Pinot grapes and one acre of Gewurztraminer grapes.  About half of the grapes they use are from their own vineyard and the rest are purchased from Ferrington Vineyard, Valley Foothills Vineyard, and Corby Vineyard, all of which are located in Anderson Valley.  One of their Chardonnays is made with grapes from the Ritchie Vineyard in Sonoma County.

Londer Vineyards is located in Philo and the Tasting Room is located in downtown Boonville in the John Hanes Art Gallery which is directly across from the Boonville Hotel.
