Kimmel Vineyards is located in Potter Valley, CA in Mendocino County. The main ranch is 1100 acres with almost 40 acres of vineyards producing 7 varietals. Originally a cattle ranch, the first vines were planted in 1986. With grapes sold to major wineries, the Kimmel Family starting producing Chardonnay and Merlot with the 2007 vintage. Kimmel Vineyards has the wine produced and bottled in Calistoga and is available  through the web site and restaurants and retail in California. Current production is less than 1000 cases per year with plans to increase with growth and demand.

The Kimmel Family spans 4 generations with the Ranch being purchased in 1963 by Ed and Lillian Kimmel. Our Passions are Great Wine, Family, Friends, and the Land. We invite you to join us and share our Passions.
