Jaxon Keys Winery & Distillery
Mendocino History....Redefined
The Jaxon Keys Estate is continuing its significant historic legacy in Mendocino County by rejuvenating its long term committment to fine wine and brandy. Originally built in 1858, John McGlashen, a Scottish immigrant named his house "Burnee Hill" meaning "House on the Hill". Today, history is redefined and goes by the name of Jaxon Keys, celebrating the past through the tribute to owner Ken Wilson's Grandfathers Jack Wilson and Cecil Keys.
The original Farmhouse has been carefully restored and now serves as our Tasting Room. Step up to our antique bar and get a taste of our Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Syrah or Cabernet to savor on our expansive deck overlooking the Russian River and surrounding vineyards. We produce world-class brandy in our historic 15th century design Alambic Pot Still, one of the few remaining in the New World, which makes us the only North American winery producing estate-grown, small batch artisan wines and brandy.
We also have a Guest House on the property that can accomodate 6 people and features a full kitchen and wrap around deck with views of the estate.
Come experience our history....redefined.
