Digging Dog Nursery

Digging Dog Nursery Catalog Cover 2010 by Marsha Mello

Digging Dog Nursery is a family business which sells a range of garden plants, including rare, hard-to-find and specialty plants, at the nursery and by mail-order.  The Nursery, which is owned by horticulturalist Deborah Whigham and garden designer Gary Ratway, is located in the redwood forest near the Mendocino coast, and has been featured in ten page spreads in Gardens Illustrated and Martha Stewart Living. The Nursery and its grounds--which include beautifully planted border areas, 9 greenhouses and a bioremediation pond--is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, and provides the perfect coastal outing for garden clubs, families, friends and all plant lovers.
